The Pirate sheets are decorated with rows of light blue waves on a white background. The flat sheet is hemmed with a coordinating ocean blue and a row of colorful pirates. The pillowcase features a crew of four pirates on a light teal background. Please note: This Pirate sheet set has a different fabric content than other Pirates bedding. As a result, there are some differences in the colors of the coordinating accessories. These items are designed to coordinate, but are not an exact match.
Pirate Bed Sheet
If the pirates think that your bed is a pirate ship then you are the Captain of the ship, because it’s your bed. That’s why the pirates all line up on the sheets fold down section. They line up because they think it’s their job to keep you safe at night. They actually think there might be other pirates.
Can you name them? There’s Captain Percy Pirate, the friendly captain, Frederick, the First Mate, Gavin the Gunner and Jeffrey the Chef. They stay on guard all night while you sleep. They get their sleep when you are not in the room.
The one person you don’t see lined up on the bed sheet is the evil Captain, Patrick Pirate with Kitty Kitty, the parrot, always on his shoulder. He’s not allowed anywhere near you because he’s such a naughty and bad fellow. His parrot, Kitty Kitty, might fly over some time to visit with you. If you see her flying around, just make sure it’s really her. If you shout out: “What’s a Kitty, Kitty say?” and she answers “Meeouw,” then you know it is definitely her.
Your pirate protectors don’t mind Kitty, Kitty. They know she tries to keep the evil Captain Patrick from doing bad things. She keeps talking in his ear to tell him when something is bad. She shrieks out loud when she gets annoyed at the naughty things he does. The good pirates like her. They hope she will eventually get Captain Patrick to behave.
