Hi my name is Elton. I’m an elephant pillow. I know what you’re thinking, I’m just a part of your kids bedding, but I’m more than a picture of an elephant on a kid’s pillow –- I’m your special friend from the jungle. I’m going to teach you everything I know about elephants.
In the jungle, I love to play in the mud. I love to roll in the mud and cover my skin with it. I sometimes get mud in my eyes. Then I like to paddle in the river pools. We don’t have soap like you at bath time, but the water’s cold and cleans off all the mud. My Mommy likes to give me a bath just before bedtime – just like your Mommy. Don’t forget – It’s important to make sure you wash behind your ears.
Did you know I can swim? Yes, as big as I am, I float very well. I paddle with my four feet, pumping the water with all my strength to keep up with the rest of the elephants.
Sometimes we just stand at the side of the pool and suck the water into our long trunks. Then it’s so much fun to squirt it all over my friends. It cools us down from the blazing jungle sun.
You can roll with me anytime. Just cuddle your elephant pillow and roll and roll and roll around the floor. But do you know what makes me happy?
